  My husband and I have lived here for 3 months now and have had very minimal problems in this complex. Our unit is nicely, but obviously a little cheaply renovated, with new floors, windows, and kitchen appliances. Everything that should be working, works great so far. There have been a few times where I've tried to contact management and have not received a response, or have been forwarded to someone else? Our neighbors are great, we love that there is no monthly pet rent. I do wish that the parking situation was better, only one spot is rough when you have two cars, and the fact that there isn't any visitor parking does make it difficult to have guests over. I've seen a lot of bad reviews about bugs or rodents, but we have yet to see anything like that, hopefully it stays that way. The laundry facility is fine, and kept pretty clean for being in the basement. All in all, we really do like our apartment, and would recommend living here.

  So this may be a longer review but it will be a complete and honest perspective of each aspect of the apartments. These are the PROs and CONs.
  So first off when setting on the tour of the apartments, the manager was not rude, was patient and answered all questions when I asked them. Also, as a week ago the apartments have come under new "new"management company, however it is still the same landlords/managers so that's fine. Everything has remained the same, although before were allowed to pay rent online and now payment is only through check or money order which is slightly inconvient; not a big deal though.
  Also, communication has been with the manager, they have always answered my questions within a timely manner. Also, I'm not sure of other residents but my apartment has had 0 issues regarding rodents or bugs. Management has also stated several times that if there are any issues to contact them.
  So upon moving in, there were no issues with my apartment, however, there were small dead house flies along the window sills WHICH I believe was from the previous resident and not the building's fault although housekeeping could've cleaned the apartment better than they did; again not a big deal.
  PROS: For the price point, the apartments are very nice and in a great location. All the appliances, kitchen and bathroom are more modern which add to the premium feel of the inside of the apartments. Everything in the apartment works fine and I've had no issues so far. There are little things off that don't bug me; shower door closes 98% of the way and other small things. Utilities are very affordable and there is only a one time pet fee which was great. I've also had no issues with other residents, the other residents are pretty quiet in my building which is great. I mean there have been some sketchy looking people that I've seen but I haven't had any problems so far. Also it's in Glen Ellyn which tends to be a safer place. The apartment's location is near a bunch of health food stores, gyms and places to eat so that was good. Now for the CONS or things that could be better. AGAIN, before I go into the CONS,management has always stated to let them know of any issues so they can be aware of it. I haven't said anything since im pretty busy and am not really bothered but some people may be. Although not premium looking, you also do get laundry($1.50 per washer/dryer) within building and a free small storage space in the basement. Also the apartments of free heat. SO this could be slightly improved. Again it's free so can't really complain. it seems that maybe a couple days out the week the heating could be improved. As some days I wake up and it is cold in the early morning and some days it is fine. Other than that the heating is usually good. Hot water works when its suppose too.
  CONS: So it's good that we have assigned parking so that way there aren't any issues with parking. However, my space and others, have faded parking lines and misaligned concrete parking stops. The parking spots are a tight space too, I mean it's not super cramped but it is a tight squeeze when parking. I do wish the spots were a bit wider. Also the lot has dips in the concrete and some trash that is blown around because of the winds. I will say that there are no potholes and there is plenty of lighting around. another CON is that there is no visitor parking or spots to purchase for your second car. You'll have to park across the street if this applies to you.
  Again there aren't too many CONS for what youre paying for; it's a good deal. I stated the PROS/CONS and things that could be improved or what to look out for. So far Im happy about my 1 BD/BR, the privacy is good, apartment is nice inside and price point is fair. The place isn't perfect but you get what you pay for and honestly no place is perfect. You'd have a hard time finding any quality apartment near this price point and location.
